About the Photographer
JTown Photography is the business name that is used by photographer Larry Weisenbach. Much easier to pronounce than Weisenbach Photography.
Larry is a 45 year old father to 2 children, a 21 year old son and a 12 year old daughter. He is also newly remarried to Casey with an 11 year old step-daughter and expecting a new baby in July 2011. Larry has been active in photography in some way as a hobbyist since he was 8 years old. His first camera was a Kodak 110 cartridge camera that used actual film! As he grew and got older, the equipment changed and got better, as did his talent and interests as a photographer.
In August of 2006, Larry made the big step of becoming a professional photographer by opening JTown Photography. The originally intended specialty was to be portrait photography. But as fate would have it, some of the first clients he had were asking for glamour/boudoir portrait sessions and that style has become the most asked for of all the styles that he does.
Photography is Larry's passion, but his profession is nursing. Juggling 2 careers, Larry works full-time as a registered nurse and pursues photography on his time off from nursing.
